Book 1: Rise of the Giants

Angels and giants and beasties. Oh my....

Dean Robinson used to be a soldier.

That is, until a fallen angel with a God complex and a snappy wardrobe killed him.

Now, he is something else.

Not quite an angel but no longer human, Dean is thrust into the prophetic pinnacle of a timeless battle raging in the shadows of the Earth and the Heavens.

He and his newfound gang of arcane sidekicks might be the only thing standing between mankind and an incursion of otherworldly giants.

No pressure....

Semi-divine super soldiers, supersized bad guys on high protein diets, a heavenly grudge match played out on an earthly stage–just another day at the office apparently.

Book 2: Wrath of the Fallen

The giants have risen. And the Devil’s in the details.

Dean Robinson is having a bad day. Like a really bad day.

And for the last member of a clandestine group of semi-divine super soldiers blessed and cursed with the wrath of God — bad days have a certain apocalyptic flare to them.

How bad exactly?

Well, he already failed to stop the prophesied resurgence of the Nephilim giants.

Now, Dean and his otherworldly cohorts from the Seventh Realm must watch in horror as their mammoth adversaries wreak unprecedented mayhem on the world around them.

His mission is impossible, riddled with mind warping beasties, overzealous celestial uber beings, surreal bounty hunters, and no shortage of unnatural drinking establishments.

As Dean races to find the one thing that can stop the coming apocalypse, he learns that the answer to saving the future is, in fact, lurking in the past.

Of course it is…

With his second installment in the Heaven’s Dark Soldiers series, Gilmore delivers a fast-paced, wise-cracking sequel to its well-received predecessor, RISE OF THE GIANTS.

Book 3: Rage of the Heavens

It’s the end of the world as we know it. And Dean Robinson feels fine.

Dean Robinson, Seventh Deacon of the Seventh Line, made a deal with the Devil. Literally.

In his defense, it was the only way to avoid apocalyptic fallout.

And it backfired. Spectacularly.

Now, Lucifer has freed the Fallen Watchers from their eternal bonds in the depths of Tartarus and sent legions of man-eating Nephilim giants on a global binge fest.

Not exactly Dean’s best day.

The Heavens are ablaze as Lucifer and his cronies slug it out with the archangels.

Dean and the team must scramble to prevent the ensuing Book of Revelations quality maelstrom from smacking headlong into the Earth.

Piece of cake…

Gilmore’s third book in the Heaven’s Dark Soldiers series delivers the knockout punch fans have come to expect. RAGE OF THE HEAVENS is a fantastical thrill ride filled with twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat and reaching for another beer.

Book 4: Dawn of the After Days

It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an angel.

Dean Robinson, Seventh Deacon of the Seventh line, found God. Literally. He was sitting in the basement reading a newspaper. It was awkward.

With a little help from the Big Guy, Dean and his wise cracking crew of supernatural sidekicks managed to snuff out Lucifer’s misguided angel mutiny before it unleashed a giant sized can of whoop ass on mankind. Cool.

Then God decided to deport all the angels to Earth. Not cool.

With the world on the cusp of an angel incursion, Dean, Doc Kelly, and the crew must race through time and space to find the only thing that can save the planet from literally falling apart at the seams.

Oh, that’s right. The planet is literally falling apart at the seams.

Total bummer.

Gilmore’s fourth book in the Heaven’s Dark Soldiers series brilliantly sets up the second trilogy with a delightfully fantastical storyline spanning all manner of interdimensional mischief and mayhem. With laugh out loud dialogue, unrelenting action, and an ever evolving cast of unnatural characters, DAWN OF THE AFTER DAYS will keep you knocking back pages as you flip beer. Wait, what?

Book 5: Ride of the Horseman

Never look a gift Horseman of the Apocalypse in the mouth.

Dean Robinson and Erin Kelly saved the world from certain apocalyptic demise.

Well, kinda sorta. At least the planet wasn’t ripping itself apart at the seams anymore. That was nice.

As mankind warmed up to the fact that they were now global neighbors with angels, giants, and
unnatural half-bred beasties, things kind of got back to normal.

In a mildly dystopian sort of way, that is.

Just when Dean thought that everything might work out for the best, the pesky ole Horsemen of the
Apocalypse shows up in downtown Boston and throws everybody into a tizzy again.

Okay, it was only one Horseman of the Apocalypse. But it was the Horseman of War so that whole
tizzy comment still stands.

Guess Dean and Erin are taking a rain check on date night. Again.

Gilmore’s fifth book in the Heaven’s Dark Soldiers urban fantasy series delivers another riproaring adventure of apocryphal proportion. Action packed with no shortage of jaw dropping twists and turns, RIDE OF THE HORSEMAN does not disappoint.
